Colour Space Transforms, 40 film stocks, lens effects, skin mode, and a dedicated MagicGrade Film tool.
New features
- Colour Space Transforms. You no longer need to run MagicGrade in a colour managed timeline. Just choose your input from the list.
- Film Stocks. MagicGrade now has proper film emulation. 40 film stocks, based on real film data.
- Grain Profiles for film stocks. Add grain, change the film stock, and the grain size and density change.
- Lens Effects in Texture. Lens Blur (edges), Chromatic Aberration, and Lens Distortion.
- Skin Mode. In Colour Palette mode, hold Alt/Opt + Shift and click 'skin' to sample it into the mask. All other controls (hue, sat, density etc.) get an extra Hue axis to adjust skin separately from other colours. Not perfect, but a solid start.
- Dedicated MagicGrade Film tool. MagicGrade without the grading. Just CST, Film Stocks and Texture. For using Film Stocks within a more traditional node tree.
- F5 Quick Help. Hit F5 for shortcuts and tips.
Improvements
- Tone Curve moved into Adjustments (F1). Contrast has been replaced with the full Tone Curve controls. F2 Tone Curve mode has gone.
- White Balance: hold Shift to disable the picker so you can tweak without resetting it.
- UI Inspector reshuffle to tidy things up.
- Additional labels top left for Fine Control mode (Shift+F1) and Auto Open mode (Shift+F3, Colour page only).
